Dog socialisation - owners & dogs needed

We need to socialise our 2 year old Akita (bitch) with some other dogs in the local area.

We'd like to get together with other owners who want to socialise their dogs too, as we (humans & canines) will all benefit from it.

We need to train her 'off lead' so that we can improve her recall and teach her to behave around other dogs, and hopefully make friends with some of the local pets.

All dogs of all ages and sizes would be welcome.

Anyone interested?

Hi Doctorlalloo, I'd love to help out on this one but our Plum is a particularly pathetic golden retriever and petrified of plastic bags and clothes racks, let alone a 2 year old Akita! However, if you're willing to make a trip out to Buckinghmshire my sister's got a year old Australian Cattle Dog that needs the rough edges taken off him - Plum would be grateful too.

our dog has just done his knee in and looking like surgery. will have to put a hold on the off leash runs for now.
