Tollington Park School

Came across this which is about the history of what I assume is now IAMs. <http://tollington.com/short_tolly_history_pt1.htm>; The school was at Turle Road and the Headmaster lived at 49 Tollington Park and if you go to home page it seems to have a thriving old boys organisation

    FLOREAT TOLLINGTONIA, indeed.

If you go inside near the staff room you will see some plans and pictures of the school in the 19th century. There was a convent next to it in Wray crescent which must have made for some amusing japes and Carry On Teacher-style smirks.

Thanks for posting. My step daughter goes there and will be thrilled to see this information.

Went to Tollington Park School after leaving Pooles park School in 1967 to 1970. I was in classes 1a,2a,3a,4a, during these years, before I moved away. Would be interested to hear from anyone in my classes. Does anyone remember our French Teacher Miss Pinkus?
