Does anyone have a old Blackberry phone I can borrow for a few weeks?
I killed mine and its like loosing my arm I am sad to say.
So if anyone has something that's web enabled please let me know I can return it when I get a new one.
Thanks Detritus.
What happened to that one I gave you? Not a Blackberry but is web enabled.
It broke at work they catch fire a lot.
A chef?
Unfortunately, I can't help, but it made me giggle.
@detrutus: "I can return it when I get a new one".
The track-record detailed here suggests otherwise ...
Ah... maybe! I been doing a lot of glassblowing (my main job) but I'm now doing something less flammable for a while.
Glass blowing is a wonderful and beautiful job.
...though a treacherous and terminal job for your mobile phone, it seems...
I have killed about 4 phones at work, Just put them on a work bench forget that they are there and its nothing but a bad smelling puddle.
It is a great job, I do Scientific glass work not the decorative stuff, but its great fun.
Better than dropping your phone in the loo.
Wasn't me, was my friend and I laughed a lot.
That's how the last but one phone went, I think 4 have burnt 1 down a loo, 1 got thrown at a wall for being sodding useless and I reversed over 1 as well
See, I stuck to Nokia and LG. Nokia is wonderful resistant, so is the LG. I threw several phones across the room and they all shattered, but I put them together and they worked again.
Seems I need to get a blow torch to actually get rid of them.
Me and phones dont get on
Me and them work perfectly fine: I put it on silent, leave it on the table and ignore it most of the time.
I always put Glory Glory Leeds United as my ring tone and then leave the thing alone.
Ring tone: something from Avatar.
But doesn't really matter because nobody calls me anyway.
Never seen Avatar, I thought they were some kind of deformed smurf.
Believe it or not: I postponed watching it, thinking I'm not in the mood for blue people. When I watched it the first time, I couldn't believe I didn't watch it earlier. It's one of my favourite movies now, along with the Dragon, the Bruce Lee Story, IP Man, The Power of One, Once and Inception. There.
MUST SEE! Avatar is truly awesome.
Dogma, withnail & i, Kind hearts and coronet's, Star Wars and the all time greatest film The Big Lebowski.
Come on, Avatar is the most boring film in history. It's a four hour remake of Ferngully (with a dose of Pocahontas) where not one single unexpected thing happens. I always assumed the plot was a big post-modern joke, signalled by the name of the secret unobtainable ore, "unobtanium". It's like calling the Maguffin, "Maguffin". The best special effects in the world, but they don't bother taking the scaffolding off the screenplay.
@Stella - However, if I were being constructive I'd definitely recommend "A Bittersweet life" and "Infernal Affairs" given the films you like
Infernal Affairs is good
I will look into it. Thanks, Andy. Watched In Time yesterday. Brilliant movie.
Ahhhh. Chinese. Love it. Give me a Chinese guy and I'm getting all excited. ;-)
Oops. Just found out he's Korean. Never mind. I'm already looking forward to watching this movie.
Otherwise I'm rather partial to romantic comedies. Yes, very sad, that. Actually I like a variety of genres.
Infernal Affairs doesn't look interesting to me. Not my thing.
I liked Avatar. Ok, the story ain't all that, but it looked simply beautiful. Yeah, I'm pretty shallow.
And I just love Sam Worthington's voice. And the man himself isn't half bad either.
Give Infernal Affairs a go. "The Departed" (Scorses, Nicholson, Damon, di caprio) was a US remake of it and Infernal Affairs is much better.
Cars 2 is good. Chang
So is "Up"
Wall-E is brilliant.
