Are there any twitchers on this site who would be willing to lend or rent me out a pair of fairly light but decent (8x42) binoculars for a couple of weeks in August? Perfectly willing to come up with a cash security deposit! Private message if you can help - ta!
I've got a 'Birdwatching Binocular Kit for Dummies' you can have for free. The bins are Barr & Stroud Skyline 8x42s, and it comes with one of those '... For Dummies' books. The bins aren't great. Close focus ain't that close and the curvature of field is pretty bad. But they're better than nothing.
