    I've created a new category for borrowing and lending stuff. Have reclassified a few recent posts into it.


    Interested as to whether people think this should be visible to all, or only to registered members.

    Might that discourage potential members who are interested in swapping from registering, if all the swap-posts are hidden?

    I think members only too.  I don't think it would discourage new members, quite the opposite - if there were posts only visible to members it would stop so many people lurking and not joining in and encourage them to register and then join in some of the conversations.

    I've got a load of old tights if anyone wants them. No use to me as they've got holes in them but seems a shame to chuck 'em out.

    I was joking, but apparently people on ebay pay good money for such things so I might try my luck there.

    In Japan there are vending machines that dispense ladies lingerie that is not quite new so I expect there's a market for used tights.

    Said lingerie is generally provided by pubescent schoolgirls (and I do love your description, @missannie!). An enduring regret is that in many trips to Japan, I never saw such a vending machine!
