10-14:30, SG School, Perth rd N43HB opposite the fullback
Hello everyone,
This Sunday’s market should be a boisterous and fun-filled affair! It’ll be the biggest we’ve had I think: around 30 stalls, with live music and a bike mechanic to spruce things up and give even more reason to while away your Sunday morning in the beautiful Stroud Green School playground.
There’s a really fabulous new cake stall to try. Maria has been a professional pastry chef for years, working in places like the Chelsea Physic Garden cafe before setting up on her own. She’s going to bring large cakes to sell either whole or by the slice; sticky loaf cakes; French-style tarts; and she has really delicious vegan & gluten-free options too. Three to mention in particular are a lemon crunch cake, very buttery bakewell tarts, and her bestselling (GF) chocolate brownies.
Thank you to everyone who came to support the new biodynamic salad stall. Tyler was really happy with the level of interest and the friendly atmosphere, and is coming back this week with local organic mushrooms as well as his own greens.
There are going to be 9 hot food sellers! Crepes, Bangladeshi, Thai, Pizza, Vietnamese, hot dogs, Japanese, toasties and sausage rolls all very moreish and munchable.
Luke the jazz clarinettist is back for another Sunday jam session…
Bye for now!
