Dear everyone,
I think we’ve had a different new stall here every week these last two months…this Sunday the rather unique Tovi the Proud are bringing their fabulous creations to Stroud Green. In their words: “We make and sell caramels, nougat, fudge, peanut brittle, honeycomb, coconut ice, lollies, sherbets, etc, all made by hand and with some nice traditional and not-so-traditional flavours. We use Cedars Park honey in our lollies and New River Brewery beer in our brittle, and we are committed to using only natural flavours and colours.“ Personally I can’t wait for a slab of fudge and a coconut ice! and we can join the regulars at Alan Briggs’ butterfly painting workshop afterwards.
Boring but important: it’s been rumoured that the parkland walk (or parts of it) might be closed because of some festival that will get going later in the day. If this does prove to be the case I hope it won’t put you off - Florence road gets you there easy as anything and you’ll be less in danger of cyclists knocking over your shopping. Whatever you do, don’t come in a car: you’ll get ticketed!
The London Bike Studio and Timothy Charge the north London honey man are both returning and there are a couple of interesting craft stalls too. And live music by Aaron Curtis! Have a look below for the full list and see you on Sunday…
