Bonjour Stroud Green!
There are a few distinguished returnees this Sunday. For a start we’ll see the Koji Fermentaria back for the first time in three weeks with summer salads and koji-based dressing and pickles. This food is unlike anything a lot of us have tried before; but it’s hardly an acquired taste. Haruko makes lemony sauces perfect for courgette salads, and there’s something too that’s vaguely reminiscent of branston pickle, only about 100 times as good. Remember you can try any of these before you decide to buy one, either as a free taster or in one of Mizue’s delicious lunch boxes.
Continuing the Japanese theme, Shumei Natural Agriculture are coming with delicious garlic, salad mix, rhubarb and broad beans.
There’s also bike fixing, Thai street food, Cedric’s stall selling a huge variety of speciality oils and vinegars, French and Italian cheese, raw dairy produce, Argentinian pastries and a free gig by Kool James and the Gang (aka my very good friend the milkman).
Come along! See you Sunday,
from Ed
