It's ugly as sin and I think a new development there could provide more housing while fitting into the streetscape in a much more attractive way, but stressful for existing residents.
I'm ambivalent about the redevelopment as new builds tend to be shoddy af - but the building is already ugly!
But I guess if it's done well and doesn't impact the surrounding area too much (as well as open up the hillside for the locals to walk/road) around, that's great - we have a housing crisis and I guess space needs to be opened up.
