Another one from the Friends of FP:
BAT WALK & TALK
Ed Santry from the Bat Conservation Trust (London) will give a talk on the ecology of the only flying mammal in the world…and hopefully we will be able to spot a few of the seventeen species in the UK!
This walk is FREE and some bat detectors will be available for the evening!
So just turn up and have a batty time…
Date: Friday 5th September 2008
Time: 7pm to 9pm
Meet: Education Hut, Railway Fields Local Nature Reserve, Green Lanes (opposite Harringay Green Lanes train station)
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing depending on the weather and suitable footwear for walking. Bring along a torch if you have one. All children need to accompanied by an adult at all times during the walk. There is NO need to book, however if you have any specific requirements please contact Catherine at BTCV on 020 8348 6005
