We had just finished our dinner, sitting with a glass of wine when we heard a woman screaming 'call the police, call the police, someone call the police'. I looked out the window and saw a woman running up Florence Rd. very distressed.
I called 999 and walked out to her while on the phone to the police. She run up Parkland Walk but by then there were a few people on the street and we stopped her. It turned out that she was held at knife point by a 'hoodie' one block down who then robbed her and ran off on to Parkland Walk. The police arrived a few minutes later.
They've now turned up with sniffer dogs.
Boys and girls; be careful!

And yes, I'm pretty certain it was fireworks that were heard.
There's been a spate of robberies around the Parkland Walk
