  The Anselmo case was the case in [Moonlighting](http://home.comcast.net/~ddemelo/Moon/ml_faq.html#5.12) that never got solved. It was just a plot device to make characters come and go. So whenever someone said "What are you working on right now?" and they responded "Oh, I'm working on a thing for the Anselmo case", it was just a filler to get them from one scene to the next. I have been trying to remember this, as a lot of the stuff I have been working on feels like an Anselmo case of my very own.
