I have a craving for some hot and spicy scran.

Should I go to Karmenz, Hummingbird or Island Grill?

The £2.50 lunchtime special from Hummingbird is a real bargain but I want to know whether I should venture into Karmenz or even try the Island Grill.

I finally got around to going to Island Grill. The food was good. Decent piece of chicken atop rice and peas. However, the price of £6.50 was hard to swallow. Especially when the same dish (of the same size) is only £2.50 (with free soft drink) at Hummingbird. Also, Hummingbird wins bonus points for using black beans (what are they called?) as opposed to the cheaper, tasteless kidneys.

I'll be sticking to Hummingbird in future.
