  At approx 6pm last night a lady walking down SGR under the Rail bridges with big box balanced on her head (not hands) and a man behind struggling with a similar box on his shoulders !

  Am loving the lights. They seem to be LED types so can be super bright if they want. Should be helpful in winter. Hoping they can change the colours somewhat for a bit of variety to cheer the place up - though not holding breath for Empire State building stylie changing to represent cultural events...

  I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think the lights are hideous. They make my eyes hurt. Ugly, ugly, ugly. And there's nothing futuristic about coloured lighting. Ugly.

  Thumbs up for the lights from me, I think they look great. Really simple way to improve it.

  It was never that dark. Just dark enough so you didn't have to see the filth. Mind you, the lights do make it easier to step around fresh vomit.
