Great to meet everyone, thanks Ginger Monkey for organising. It turns out everyone is just as fun in real life.
Even face to face the Porchetta v Pappagone argument didn't get settled....if there is a next time, I suggest a blind tasting to put the debate to bed once and for all.
aww i wish i could have come. instead i shunned one group of geeks for another and went to my first ever london fly meeting. highly exciting though it was, i would have preferred a bitter shandy and internet people.
you should do it again.
That was a great evening judging by the thickness of my head this morning. Nice to meet everyone, and to find that gingermonkey has actually sat behind me in my office and knows all my colleagues. Scary small world.
Now I need to go in search of some kind of bacon sarnie.
There is no argument - Porchetta every time. I've been going there since the week it opened.
Have a blind tasting if you want but here's a tip; the pizza that tastes like a carpet tile with a carrier bag melted on top will be the one from Pappagone.
If you want a culinary debate try this; Greek olives v Italian olives
@twinspark: I've been going to Pappagone since it opened, so I'm happy to suggest that it doesn't matter which one you like as long as you enjoy it.
Thanks to ginger chris for "organising" last night. Great turnout.
Mills had suggested Rowan's Bowling for the next night out? I'm there.
Also I have a consignment of stolen mobiles I need to offload, and Rowans is centre of the dodgy trading universe, so two birds with one stone and all that.
@becky - I like leaving all those posts up to remind us that we can plumb the depths of banality.
Here's one more [page turning classic](http://www.stroudgreen.org/discussion/186/quiet-innit/#Item_4).
There's a bonkers one about toast somewhere that I posted when incredibly sleep-deprived and the merits (or otherwise) of soft rock and waffles kept us busy for at least six months.
We also had a big thing about Myers-Briggs, which was good value.
@andy. I'm an ENTP [myers-briggs](http://www.stroudgreen.org/discussion/74/myers-briggs)
I've just realised that I am a total buffoon and kept formatting comments as text rather than markdown. Just a glance below the comments box was all I needed ...
sounds like I missed a jolly night - would've loved to have put my vote in for Pappagone's . . . maybe I'll get some I heart Pappagone's merchandise made for your next meet up
