I'm sorry, Sunshine Cafe? It's the most rancid awful cafe I've ever been too. I actually walked out without paying, told the guy and he just nodded at me. The sausage in my Full English was older than me by the look of it.
Ah the sunshine. It is what it is. I'd say your mistake is entering the place with expectation. If you do it with a hangover just looking for lemonade and beans on toast it can provide a reasonable service.
A bit late to this, but keeping it SG:
Dotori
Pappagone
Jai Krishna
Cats
Chez Liline
Notable mentions to:
Sugar Lounge
Los Guaduales
The Triangle
Dinner Box (take away)
The Noble (too expensive)
Too far away:
Hot Pepper Jelly (Crouch End)
Banners (Crouch End)
St Johns (Archway)
Taste of Nawab (Muswell Hill/Colney Hatch Lane)
The Sitara (Archway/Holloway Road)
probably forgot some...
Dinner Box (recently replaced Exotic of India for best delivered curry) Pappagone (recently replaced Porchetta for best kid-friendly pizza) Petek's Khoia Cats

separate list for take-aways and crouch end
Pappagone (recently replaced Porchetta for best kid-friendly pizza)
Petek's

Oh, and the Noble too.
The Dhonia [Doonia?] curry place, just past Front Room on Tolly Park is good to eat in. [ not strictly in SG though]
Pappagone is just plain wrong - can't allow kids to think that pizza should taste like a melted carrier bag on a carpet tile!
