  [http://itunes.com/app/foursquare](http://itunes.com/app/foursquare) early days for london and i'm wondering if i can be bothered with another social app that i need to create another list of friends for. why can't it just populate my data from facebook? edit: ah, it can do as long as you use the [website](http://foursquare.om).

  After the flatmate's boyfriend became Mayor of our flat (because neither flatmate nor myself has a smartphone) I unilaterally declared myself its Antipope, which is definitely one louder.

  foursquare is pretty good to be fair. my friends are all on it. you basically check-in to the place where you are, as a way of letting people know where you are. but its also about frequenting places more than anyone else, and therefore becoming mayor of that place. the mayor is often then granted special offers and discounts as a result.
  
  my housemate just shot the adverts for it with the new girl on countdown, so keep your eyes peeled....

  Not to devalue Four Eyes' achievement, but Sean C has finally found a new place to live which is not crashing with us mere feet above the WLM, so it's really no wonder he has lost his title.
