I'm doing a forensic science degree, i'm also terrible with numbers...<div><br></div><div>One of my modules is 'Bioanalytical Techniques' (with topics such as The Van Deemter Equation, Solutions and Dilutions, Spectroscopy, Chromatography etc.) </div><div><br></div><div>If anyone understands any of this, i could really do with someone explaining to me like i'm a child as i'm completely lost!!!!</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks! x</div>

I've got the same problem with a course that I'm doing, just dreadful teaching. Email the tutors, give them shit, in a pleasant way, that's what I do.

I was fortunate enough to be accepted onto the course despite no previous experience/qualifications, just a Forensic Science diploma. I'm not incapable, its just very unclear and many of the 200+ students are confused!

Just out of curiosity, what does one do with a forensic science degree? There can't be that many CSI-style jobs out there. Certainly not enough for 200+ graduates.

Sorry, I mean 200+ students doing this module, not 200+ Forensic Students, and its not at all like CSI, that's a misconception... And there are many jobs for analytically trained students, although they aren't publically advertised!
