  Multiple landowners at the Hornsey site are causing some delays.  Anywhere that reduces the queues at SGR Tesco is a good thing in my book.<br>

  A new sainsburys local is opening soon on blackstock road, opposite the n4 library. Looks tiny.

  More competition for the country's worst Tesco store. With this Sainsbury's and the new Fruit and Veg store I can see my evening trip home slightly change route to go up SGR. <br><br>Mind you, the whole of Crouch End that doesn't live near the Broadway might just go up there then double back before getting a bus. <br>

  The Vista site is definitely a Sainsbury's, as there are alcohol licence notices up in their name. So I presume all the planning etc has gone their way. I think it's too small to be a proper supermarket, I'm guessing it's not going to be much bigger than the one where Woody's was. But I'm looking forward to the new fruit and veg place near Cats. Signs so far look good.

  Vista is the former name of the Stroud Green Road roll-topped development near the station.

  The building appears to be called Vista House, so I guess the original developer (a representative of whom used to post on here) has stayed throughout, despite contractors going bust etc. You still there Vista, to give us an update?
