    Outrageous! I feel a strongly-worded letter coming on. Although Haringey only states it is waiving the charge on the "Jubilee weekend". Does it have to be a Jubilee party?

    Last year whilst Katie and Will's wedding was on,  I went to visit friends in a Republic.  I booked a flight and holidays from work months in advance.  Throughout the days I was away the only thing I saw about the royal wedding was a newspaper headline.  Pure bliss!

    @ADGS.  I was in Germany.  I think it was a celeb fest in most countries but easier to avoid outside of the UK, especially as I was out and about a lot.
