According to the Islington Gazette the John Jones student accommodation plan is dead. What happens now? <div><br></div><div><br></div>

    Big sport bar/ bakery /deli/ drip club/ strop club / strip club/ WI / knitting circle/ DIY vet pit stop / ear-wormery/ wig shop/ sausage roll emporium/ nail bar (run by chrisN4)/art frame shop. That sort of thing. All in one building wiv pics of Lorne Road onens toilets and Moray Rd in kitchen. Ok yes o have had a pint at Rowans. But bit of blue sky thinking needed in this gaff. Chang

    Spoke with John at the sale there on Saturday and he said that their  lawyers were just about to go to the appeals court - if they lose they will most likely be leaving the area .  <br><br>Could Kate comment?<br><br>I hope they dont leave - the are a world class operation and are involved in so many great projects beside  making frames.<br>

    Yes, the tin roof block is not them.  They have the compound behind that and had plans drawn up to re develop their work premises and build student style flats and have studio spaces etc..  <br>
