Coffee Grounds for the Garden at Vagabonds
  • Hi everyone, I am in the process of setting up a network on London Coffee shops giving their grounds away for fertilizer in associations with groundtoground.org

Groundtoground.org has loads of information on how to use the ground coffee beans so go take a look and start collecting.

The guys at Vagabond are thinking about putting a bin out on the street for people to scoop it up - maybe once a week, or perhaps small packs everyday if there's the demand.

Feedback and let them or me know.

They'll be on the groundtoground London map very soon.

  • Great idea, I shall definitely pick some up from Vagabonds if they do put some out - I shall be planting my fuschias in a few weeks time so it would be good to give them a bit of a boost.

  • Thank you, I would be delighted to be able to help myself to unwanted used coffee grounds. They do wonders for the garden - great for keeping slugs & snails at bay.

  • Just go on in and ask for them... let me know if you have got any - be great to keep a record of it for my proposal....

  • Check out groundtoground.org for ideas... If you let them dry out for a couple of days and then mix in with soil half half it works a treat direct

  • Here's the link - we're on the map!

    Go get those grounds
