Which Nail Salon is better- Lauras or Jennys??
  • Hi

I am trying to find out which one is better for a mani and pedi. If anyone can let m e know that would be great, thanks

  • Laura's!

  • From a men's perspective it's Jenny's. My relative had a bc&s as a birthday 'treat' (??!!) from wife Dorcas, and they apparently were cool bout it, and very thorough, hygenic and friendly. Worth knowing. Chang

  • Is your relative in TOWIE?

  • Do you mean a bs&c?

  • Hi chang I am afraid we don't do bs and c at jennys we don't do colonic coffe either. You must have the wrong place we do brazilian, hollywood Vajazzle for ladies but not bs and c for men.

  • I consider myself a broadminded woman of the world but have never heard of colonic coffee.

  • Do they do them at Vagabond?

Never been to Laura's but have been to Jenny's numerous times - always good

  • Colonic coffee = coffee enema? Heard of, not tried.

  • Ah, more compulsive lying from Chang.

  • Maybe it's that coffee that's poo'ed out by meerkats or some such critter, I saw it in Selfridges.

  • Civets, not meerkats! Some spas use coffee enemas, as do some cancer patients.

  • Is Chang a complusive liar? Or is he actually a comedian? His post on the Thai massage thread was hilarious.

  • I dont know!

  • Chang also said: She had a coffee rub. Ground beans take off dead skin and the cafiene makes you energetic. Rubbed in by a lady in a plastic apron. She was offered a coffee enema (therapeutic) but was worried she'd be 2 buzzy and did not like the sound of it. Chang

He should not believe Dorcas' husband.

    He is hilarious!

  • There is no Dorcas. There is no Dorcas’ husband.

  • Ah Chang! - the artist formerly known as Tollington Tom. I don't mind him that much, just dont really get his pointless/unfunny lying.

  • Particularly when it impacts local businesses (lying about what they do, whether they are about to close), house prices (lying about suppsed chronic problems on a particular street), and even more contemptable stuff such as lying about a lost dog.  Perhaps some people do find it funny.  I don't.  At best it's pointless attention-seeking.  At worst it's invidious.

  • He is right about the stink on Lorne rd though. I've also noticed it recently at the SG rd end of Arthur Rd and on the corner of Osborne rd by Charter court as I cut through those streets when cycling home or going to my friends house. Unless you have reason to go there you wouldn't notice it, and maybe the folks who live there are used to it and don't smell it any more. I have also noticed the slight chemical smell some evenings (smells a bit like poppers) so I wonder if the council are aware and trying to do something about it.
