Dressmaker needed

Can anyone recommend someone who could make a really simple beach wedding dress in silk?

• Don't sound that simple! Try Image Fonthill road , the tailor next to Hanley arms mosque on Hornsey road, sew in crouch end or my tailor also crouch end round from dunns
• I'd ask around the numerous Vintage shops, wouldn't trust any of the repair shops with tailoring. The Thrifty Stitcher (on twitter) could certainly help and she's very local.
• Alternatively, here's the Thrifty Stitcher website (her name is Clare-Louise): http://thethriftystitcher.co.uk/. If she can't, you could try Mariko De Montalte - dreamsewing@gmail.com. Have seen examples of both their work, and they are both excellent - they both have careers as theatrical costumiers/wardrobe mistresses.
• Thank you very much! Appointment made through the Thrifty Stitcher website. (Now almost beyond myself with excitement)
• Just had very good report on SEW in Crouch End. After unpromising start where the lady on the desk could not seem to understand much over the loud radio, our order of various alterations and curtains was done ahead of time at a decent price and to a good standard. Lorne Road is now looking dead smart. Worth checking out but ring the HQ first if you have a complicated request . Chang
