  • PS Also, Poxy, thanks very much for the baby monitor, it has been so useful.
  • You're welcome. The sessions at Montessori are a sprat to catch a mackerel. The school is hoping to sign-up 2 year-olds and so offers sessions to 1 year-olds and their parents. It's half-term this week, I'll get the details and post them up next week.
  • sing and sign is great at Margaret Macmillan- great way to introduce baby signing.

TE - who runs it? I paid £90 for sing and sign classes with the sing and sign franchise! Grr. Wish I'd known I could go for free round the corner. Is it packed?
  • @poxy that would be great.
  • It is run by the guys that work at the children's centre and it varies depending who is taking it. I haven't been for a while now as my boy has just turned 4 and it is for up to 2 yr olds.He has been at the nursery from 11 months and is still there until next August. In the baby room they use makaton and we used some basic signs at home (more, food, drink etc ) and it was brilliant. It was never packed, maybe 10 at the most. Babies free to roam around too.
  • I started taking my son there when he was only just under 2 months old after I dropped my daughter off. Back then he would mainly eat and sleep!
