Sorry for panic, it does seem to be the case that the blogger didn't realise that it doesn't open till later in the afternoon. Will be going past about 5pm again today, so will check. Phew!
I know it's his choice when to open but I reckon he has lost about 50% of my potential trade. I've bought stuff them from there around half dozen times but I have also tried to buy wine/beer from there during the week and sat/sunday late morning and afternoon for that evening. THere must be huge numbers of people who are similar.
He opens at 3pm. He told me 'nobody buys alcohol in the morning'. They've had that place for years so I'm guessing they're talking from personal experience but try telling him.
I think Wetherspoons might disagree with that!

I know it's not
the same at all, but I couldn't resist. Overheads and all that - I
guess it'd cost more than they'd make to be open for those extra hours.
I think when Jack's closes down it will be the day Stroud Green dies. As I'm off the booze I haven't been in for a while but I'm sure I saw one of the brothers offloading the van this week.
