Accident in Stroud Green rd. Witnesses Required

Dear all,   On the 12th July I was involved in a traffic accident on stroud green road, under the bridges of finsbury park station.   Basically I was riding my black vespa scooter northbound, when a blue VW golf coming southbounds did a U-turn and hit me on the side.   Where you there when this accident happened? I am desperate to find some witnesses willing to testify as the driver of the car is denying any responsability, meaning I won't be able to recover the costs of a replacement motorcycle.   Within all the caos, I remember there was a lot of people around, everybody quite helpful, calling the ambulance and the police, and if you were there, eternal gratitude for all your help!   Thanks in advance!   Mariano
