I was nosing through rightmove and saw the commercial space next to the theatre being advertised. After all the hype, imagine if instead of a 'jazzy café', a fast food chain like McDonalds moves in. I've always thought it's odd that there is no McDonald's in FP, seems like the perfect spot for it. They do favour a larger premises though

From experience, quite a lot of Americans use the drive-thru and then park in the McDonalds lot to eat the food. When I lived there it didn't seem abnormal. Now it does!

Didn't go to a McDs drive-through in America, but my experience of In-N-Out Burgers in LA was that there is no eat-in space (or very minimal), so you either ate in the car park or the outdoor benches or drive home.

In N Out Burger is one of the things I miss about the US after 27+ years here. We usually eat inside when going there. Trader Joe's market is another.
