I watered my allotment, and took in the smell of tomato plants, nothing nicer unless you count the smell of the flowers from tobacco plants, not as sweet as jasmin but similar.
I went blackberry picking along Parkland walk on Saturday and it was really lovely, as was my daughter's birthday party in Stationers' Park (does that count as Stroud Green? It's not far, anyway). We tried Fabrizio for the first time as a result of a recommendation on this site and it was great - reminded me of holidays in Italy and they gave us free limoncello and my daughter peach juice in a "cheers" glass which delighted her. Despite the noisiness of living next to the trainline, it does provide a lovely tree-lined backdrop to my house, which I appreciate very much. I love that there are still new places to check out after 10 years of living here and that most of them are a bit different - not your usual chains.
