  • <p>This has been reported to the council.</p><p>It is mainly  old kitchen stuff I belive related to the open door in the back of the picture.</p><p>That is 162 SGR which  had an illegal  conversion made some  time back.  The owner has been  given planning permision  to covert the property from the  illegal   2 bed to one two bed hence only one kitchen needed </p><p>Plans can be seen here   <a href="http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet">http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet</a></p><p>use  ; ref HGY/2014/2768</p><p>Other people have dumped rubish on top of the kitchen stuff and the council have been provided with photographic evidence of who this is.</p><p>This has  been  going on for a week or so it may be the council ard "hiding in the bushes" waiting to pounce and get a proscution or two.</p><p>Planning control wil also be visisting  </p><p> </p><p> </p>
  • Disgraceful! Happens all the time on the corner of Fonthill Road and Moray Rd.  People know they can get away with it and council will pick it up.  Ive even seen a car pull up late at night and dumb rubble and drive off.

Did you get its number?  <div><br></div><div>I tweeted this picture and Haringey has already replied and promised to send Veolia round to scrape it up. :)  Well done Haringay.    Happens often at this spot, though so close to the main road.    Quite vile and unsightly, depressing enraging and demoralising every morning when I step over it.   Ugggh.  </div><div><br></div><div>Could be a case for redesigning this bit of street, it appears to be as attractive as a shithouse wall to some people.<br><div><br></div><div>I can't believe how people can do this - where were they brought up?  Not so much rubbish as rubbish people. :(</div></div>

  • Best to avoid naming & shaming, but I thoroughly approve of both your detective work and your prosecution.
  • I thoroughly approve of naming and shaming, personally<span style="font-size: 10pt;">.  At least now we have a pretty good idea of who these crap merchants are.</span>
  • Dumped rubbish is a big problem around here and to be fair Haringey Council tend to clear it up within 1-2 working days from reporting it online or via their app. I had to report two dumped fridges at the end of our road this morning as well as a growing pile of rubbish at the junction with Lancaster Road. The key thing is to report it as soon as it happens so more stuff doesn't get dumped on top but at the same time I feel like I am doing the work for the people who could not be bothered to take it all to the tip in the first place!<div><br></div><div><br></div>
  • It is all gone !<div><br></div><div>I will follow up on what the Council are doing re the folks who did the dumping </div>
  • More rubbish has already appeared at the Wall of Despair at the end of Stroud Green Road.<div><br></div><div>This wall is a pointless piece of street furniture and needs to go - it just seems to attract fly tippers.    Will monitor.<br><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
  • Interesting. Bet that all comes from Oxford House, in preparation for the next unworkable planning application...

I have renamed this thread as someone (@ch****ki?) told me I should lighten up.<div><br></div><div>After being cleared up, the Lorne Road Wall of Shame has once again begun to acquire several exciting new pieces of street art, i.e. an estate agent's board, a bit of a car, some kind of projector screen and an old TV.     In the spirit of lightening up, @ch*****i, a Twitter thread has now come up with the suggestion that our street installation gets together with the fridge freezer on Ashmount Road to hold a party.   Who's bringing the vodka (and leaving the bottles)? </div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
  • Never mind all that rubbish, @k****y, the point is, are we meeting tomorrow for chess or not, and have you contacted @s****t??
  • The more surreal this post gets, the better.

  • <p>I think there is  a fat  chance  of any one being proscuted even with clear evidence.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
  • Quite.   Anyway, who cares.   Living in London you just expect people to dump in the streets.    Let them live in their own filth.
  • We have to be careful here. This is not a court and we don't have all the facts. Just because the package has a name on it doesn't mean they left it here.
  • <p>Well both addresses on the two occasions had Lawson Court addresses.</p><p>At the  very least the council should go and ask if they know how  rubish  with their name on it  got there and point out that they could get fined.  The kitchen cupboards dumped very definitley  came from the open door on the background of the 1st photo.</p><p>Why the  Lawson  Court people didn't use the  very good paper/cardboard recycling bins in the  Estate goes past me.</p><p>I must have a look  and see if the council has one on their hidden cameras trying to catch people on film ?</p><p>How does one get proof  do you  have to catch them in the  act ?</p><p> </p><p> </p>

  • The snow will make it look less unsightly today Krappy.
  • Keep it up Krappy. Get the local councillors on it. Maybe this will be the excuse needed to fund some substantial imorovements.

  • This is appreciated Tim. As we have discussed before, that whole area needs a thoughtful rethink to create better pedestrian environment.
  • <p>Could gorilla  action not just "vansh" what  is left of the wall on both  sides of the road  in the middle of the night?</p><p> </p><p>"removed subject to identifying the necessary funding" is a go away comment I have bigger fish to fry</p>
  • I do also wonder what  Chang would make of this
  • Bring back Chang. He would have something to day about the Lorne Road Stink
