  Excellent article about prisons by Simon Jenkins in the Standard. A real eye-opener. And Cameron gets a rubbishing as - in a word - a hypocrite, which should please Sutent. SJ is a bit of a maverick,  by no means always on the side of the liberals. Writes superbly about London, too.

  Can someone explain to me how the drug trade, gangs, the prison system, police budgets, etc. relate to a local woman being assaulted and stabbed on her way to the post office?<div><br></div><div>It seems to me that there are many assumptions being made in this discussion.</div>
