Recording Studio

I am interested to know whether its worth it to invest time and money in a recording studio in Stroud Green area, if so, where can I start from? Any informed ideas? <div>Much appreciated!</div>

  • Have you researched how much need there is for a recording studio in Stroud Green? I know 1 opened up within the last year on Crouch Hill opposite Hopsmiths and there's another one further up the road towards Crouch End.<div><br></div><div>I would start by researching market need for it and think about what you;re unique offering would be.</div>
  • There's one near SevenSisters Road and quite a few in the Garment District in Harringey - so quite a few in the area already.
  • There's a small one in a barn in the garden of one of the huge 8 bed houses on Tollington Park, behind my house, but that's mostly used as a rehearsal space for classical musicians. Lovely in the summer when they leave the garden door open. The whole massive mansion used to be Decca's studios and some good stuff was recorded there http://www.philsbook.com/decca-tollington.html
  • Miss Annie I always wondered what that building was used for, how very interesting.
