I thought I might collect a few things that would go into an 'Alternative' Stroud Green walk. One day, I will put it online.<div><br></div><div>By 'Alternative' I mean a bit extra to the usual Stroud Green 'history' and 'culture'-type walks which include well known stuff like FP Station, Finsbury Park, Parkland Walk, Stapleton Hall and the Old Dairy sgraffito, SG Badge, but possibly miss out other interesting stuff (sometimes of more than local significance).</div><div><br></div><div>Off the top of my head - for history:</div><div><br></div><div>- House where Heath Robinson was born in Perth Road</div><div><br></div><div>- Tollington Park house where Victorian poison murder happened</div><div><br></div><div>- Cinematograph Cinema where first talkies were shown (Lidl)</div><div><br></div><div>- Sweet manufacturer Barratt (or Bassett? Can't recall) lived in Stroud Green Road</div><div><br></div><div>- Where did the bombs/V2s fall in Stroud Green - when? </div><div><br></div><div>But not all just dusty old history, plenty of recent/present day cultural stuff could go in like - LBGT hairdressing saloon, New Beacon Books black consciousness collective, etc etc. What else is first in SG? Help me out.</div><div><br></div><div>How about a map/route map?</div><div><br></div><div>Any suggestions to add?</div><div><br></div><div>PS</div><div><br></div><div><img src="
