Added Simon Pegg. Scot Mills, Douglas Alexander, James McAvoy, John Alford and Pete Brown are in the Woodberry Downs reservoirs for the moment. I've put David Lammy and Beverly Knight in 'Lancaster Road' as I think that's quite vague. I know Lammy's house but not BKs.
Jon Snow or should i say Kit Harrington is in Oxford Road. I read somewhere he calls it "the house that Thrones built" which made me laugh and possibly proves him to be quite down to earth
Fonteyn? The only ballerina I know to have local roots is Alicia Markova (Blackstock Road). But I have the definitive Fonteyn biography around somewhere, so will have a look.
I first used a mobile phone on the corner of Tollington Park/SGr. I phoned a girlfriend if she wanted me to cook a curry or stir fry. The year was 2000.
Truly historic. Could you tell us the result? Perhaps you could also recall where you ate your first pizza or saw someone wearing a wig. We all want to know.
Now gradually embellishing the New Map of Stroud Green (2016) starting with artists and creatives - alive or dead. Done W. Heath Robinson. Anyone have any local info about Don McCullin, Lucien Freud, Frank Auerbach so they can be placed on the map - or able to look them up?
Any links to living artists and creatives please?
Musicians, film makers, ballerinas, murders and all the rest later on.

Oyez!
@Arkady That is because they are just floating there until The Beadle's research team (Mr Google) can identify an address or street where to put them. Or because they are living celebrities. They will dry off and go home eventually.
I really want to get this idea going - maybe even produce some kind of finished map or at least a work-in-progress - if I have time in the next few weeks.
Instead of (or in addition to) an online-only Google-type map, I think it would be fun to create an actual physical map, say about 60cm square, that you could pin up or put on the wall. Or even frame and hang up.
I really need some help:
- Can anyone recommend how and where to transfer a local street map onto a single sheet of paper 60cm square? What cost?
- Alternatively, does anyone know the kind of graphic artist who might draw out an actual pen and ink 'street map’ that could eventually be reproduced that size - preferably pro bono..... (I have in mind something fun and with a bit of style, like the kind of map you get in the front of, say, a fantasy novel or the Hobbit or something - only of Stroud Green.)
I will aim to complete the list of map locations of significant people, places and events in Finsbury Park/Stroud Green online, so they could eventually be transferred and drawn in. Needs a bit of research but should be possible, though having a little collaborative team would be nice.......
I just think it’s a fun idea because this area is so rich in culture, art, music, people, history, politics - old and new. Let’s celebrate it. Further input always welcome. Ta.
@Ali great tip, thanks, Atom Gallery inform me that an A2 digital print would cost about £18 so it’s viable.
So the next step would be to find an artist or designer to help draw up a map - if any Stroudgreeners have suggestions or names, I’ll follow up. Will now start getting my s**t together on this.

I don't know exactly where, although I know a man that does so I'll find out, could be this end.
Edit: credit for that one to @mirandola's excellent blog at http://thehornseyroad.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/christmas-carol-on-hanley-road.html?m=1

Just found this, shows there may be some interest on local maps
