Ten years!

So I was just having a butcher's around the site and I clocked that I have been a member since December 2006 meaning the site must have recntly passed it's 10 year anniversary. Was the event marked in any way? Did @andy pop back for a guest edit? Is there any sort of long term service award? I fondly remember the stickers I won for something a while back

The site went online in March 2006. Had it occurred to me at the time I might have tried to organise some sort of commemoration.

Good to see you're still around, Tosscat. Maybe I'll make some stickers.

I thought I'd been an early adopter but looks like I wasn't a member until April 2007. There used to be membership numbers next to our profiles and I *think* I was number 57. I met Andy through this excellent site he invented and still very much in touch with him, despite us both having long departed N4.

I'm Ian's wife and not quite such an early adopter (also didn't post as much). It was the demise of our village networking site that prompted me to remind him about stroudgreen.org. We fondly remember the heyday before people hung out quite so much on Twitter and Facebook. This site made N4 such a brilliant place to live in the late-2000s.
