I would like some FB group. Perhaps I will start one? The only one I have seen was just full of adverts. There is so many really lively ones for East London (ads are banned) with people just chatting. Hmmmmm. But who will join if I start one?
But if someone wrote "white guy in a red hat" that would be ok?
Sorry but frankly I really do not get it - a bit over the top to be honest. For description to be accurate, what is the issue to include ethnicity? How is that racist?
Received a letter about this from some one claiming to be a John Peart from Victoria Road. Addressed to the house holder and had second class stamp. If he really exists he is a bit lazy could have hand delivered.
I guess Next-door is just another way of usdusding your data for someone else to make oodles of money serving adds and avoid tax.
Any adds that'd appear here generate a bit of revenue to play for hosting this I think ?
The only John Peart I could find on Google was a rather unpleasant individual from Bimingham
It looked from the examples in the story as if people were reporting people as being suspicious just on the basis that they didn't recognise them and they were black. That feels a bit alien here, but it's worth being aware that this stuff happens so one can check oneself for unconscious bias. The new approach requires someone to say what was suspect about the behaviour, before giving a description of the suspect. The description can include ethnicity, of course, but not just that.
