  Is the food at the new Thai better - or as good?
  
  I tend to think of Thai restaurants as canteens with hot sauce, a proper romantic date night restaurant has napkins, silverware and square plates....... but, hey......

  Well I took my mum to the new one the other day and I have to say I thought it was nice enough but no bettter than Cats, and the seating wasn't as comfy. Everyone else on here loves it though. Have you tried La Fabrica, that's nice - and romantic too.

  Agree with Krappy. Thai places are like canteens to me also which I like if I'm in the mood for that sort of thing.

  I think Granary is miles better than Cats, which is mediocre at best.
