We would like to invite you to the third Finsbury Park Regeneration Conference to be held on Saturday 25th March 2017. This is an opportunity for you to discuss what you like or dislike about Finsbury Park and what you think needs to be done to make it a better place to live and work.
The guest speakers will include Mayor of Hackney Phil Granville and Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, MP for Islington North. Other MPs from Hackney and Haringey, local business owners, local London Assembly Members, Leader of Islington Council and Cabinet Members for Regeneration from Hackney, Haringey and Islington Councils will be on a panel of Speakers about The Tri Borough Accord. We have invited City North/Telford Homes developers, Network Rail and Tfl to take part in a panel discussion and this will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the proposed changes to the Finsbury Park Station and the development plans. This year’s Conference sponsor, Higgins Construction plc will do a presentation about the King’s Crescent Housing Regeneration scheme due for completion in May this year. There will also be a number of workshops – Jobs & Training, Supporting Local businesses, Open Spaces, Neighbourhood Planning and Public Arts & Culture.
