  Possibly the best recommendation I've had for a tradesmen. T.J came over tonight and was unbelievably attentive and detailed in his consideration of what was needed for the job. Have'nt had the work done yet, but if he puts that much commitment in at the start, then I'm sure I'll be pleased. Thank you Eliz

  Yes, thanks, Arkady. So, just to round this up: I had a phone call with T.J. but found his pricing (quite) a bit on the 'saw you coming' end. That was probably lucky because I found this guy on Mybuilder: https://www.mybuilder.com/myjobs/job/2540975/tradesman/scottgferguson66, whom I can only warmly recommend. Lovely chap, total professional, lightspeed turnaround, extremely tidy, etc. etc. (could have listened to a slightly more interesting radio station though). Based in Epping, but frequently works in this part of the world, and is happy to travel. A bit over half of T.J.'s phone quote. I still hope T.J.'s business flourishes, too.
