Musician for election?
This is getting a bit desperate...
Everything is working out fine and mostly in place for the Ancient Corporation election and song event on Saturday *except* for one thing - we all think it would be great to get everybody to belt out at least one reprise of at least one verse of the pub song ‘live’. Drawback is that at 7pm the choir won’t be available and there isn’t even a piano in the pub to set a note.
How to manage this? Is there anyone musical or singy likely to be coming who could perhaps bring an instrument to help with a totally unrehearsed rendition (a la Gareth Malone?).
I haven’t even heard the tune yet but I suspect it will be very easy to sing. I’ll know later today.
Pure coalition of chaos I suspect but who cares?

I’ve just heard the choir and the song for the first time at rehearsal. Evoke are wonderful. True professionals. I do recommend going to the whole of their 30 minute set beginning at 2pm. The song does sound good - I’ve got it on video now to play again later in the evening on Saturday.
PS I do *not* wish to be nominated. Seriously.
