That Lamb is not a gastropub and (i thought) owned by the guy in the hat who's name i can never remember.

He was some sort of accounts type bloke who took a punt when he got the pub, good on him.

Anyway i thought there was a pub i hadn't frequented for a moment.

Northerners are most welcome if they come bearing chips and curry sauce...

Does the Lamb even have a kitchen? Good beer range for sure. Neil Gill definitely ran it at some point, maybe he downgraded his stake.

I think the hat guy was in the right place at the right time and took the chance but i seem to remember him saying he knew the old owner, I had no idea it was the guy from Season.

If you go in there the lady he runs it with is very friendly as well, can't remember if they're together or just friends.

@Peter Crumb No, Parmo is not just a Boro thing; I've been taking photos of my local (Newcastle) chippy and other chippies for this thread today but I'll have to read up on how to share photos. Cheesy baked beans on toast is a Teesside speciality, though - but how can that compare with Cheesy Chips With Bolognese?

Disclaimer: Yes I know Newcastle isn't Sunderland (thank god), but if we have Parmo here, they definitely have it there as well!

They ran out of food while we were in the queue. So we went to Season and had steak. It looked good though.
