  No recommendation for who, but zipcar have a van up Crouch Hill. It is big enough for most furniture & might be appropriate for a single item. You would just need to convince a mate to go with you to the south west. I always get caught in traffic & I don't imagine the lane widths are fun on the north circular for a van driver. Not a journey I would want to do alone. I imagine lots of people on this site have free lifetime memberships from when zipcar bought streetcar. I think then it is only £7.50 an hour.
