Childminder/Nanny share

Hi all, our son is 6 months old and I need to find some local childcare.
I'm initially looking for either two full days or 4 half days a week.
Does anyone have any leads or advice where I can start looking? I'd consider a great creche but would prefer to find a childminder.

    I would highly recommend Little Stars nursery. I was more inclined towards a childminder too when my daughter was that age but it's a baby nursery so totally geared up for this age and just lovely. They have a long waiting list though. Childminders are listed on Haringey and Islington's websites and I'd recommend posting in the Crouch End parents facebook group for nanny recommendations. There's no Stroud Green equivalent as far as I know but it's reach is a bit wider than pure Crouch End.

    Not as local to you but Tufnell Park Parents (http://tppsg.org/) have a list of babysitters and nannies etc that other parents have recommended in North London. May be of use.
