I noticed an alcohol license application for Premier Inn at 204 Seven Sisters Road on the hoarding covering the site of the demolished Sir George Robey.
Handy for the station and the Emirates.

wow the transformation carries on! yes definitely very handy, but such a big loss of character! oh well let's see when it will be built. With the student accommodation and city north the building will not look out of place, but it will for someone who will teleport themselves into 2020 in finsbury park from let's say 2010...!

2010-2020 -big change and I thought 2000-2010 was big. Aesthetic change followed by physical after quake. It's happening.

Don't know but the license application clearly states 204 Seven Sisters Rd, which is that site.

You'll find it on the planning thread. Last spring from memory. They had a public exhibition at the church on Tollington Park.

Apparently the one at Archway has a happy hour every Friday, no idea what its like but i stayed in one abroad once and the bar was like a west end spot.

Just looked at an aerial view to compare the footprint of the space to one I stayed in in Edinburgh. About the same, they'll be building high I imagine.

The premises license applications, works schedule etc. for Premier Inn are up on the hoardings now. Five floors of rooms plus restaurant and bar on Ground.
