Interesting long read in National Geographic about the surveillance society with a lot on Islington's 180 CCTV cameras, a number of them in Stroud Green (at least 15 in our manor north of Emirates Stadium, according to their map.) One of the most watched areas of the UK outside central London.

3 today when I was trying to drive up SGR. One was being driven by a Catholic priest (a Monsignor, for precision); he said that he hadn't seen the signage! I really should have suggested that he clean his glasses or go for a check-up at Specsavers...

You know that your phone is always listening to and storing your conversations, right? Siri and Alexa too. Facebook are also using face recognition to suggest tagging other people from your network in photos that you post. CCTV would be the least of my worries as a law abiding person.
