Knocked off my bicycle yesterday - did anybody see it?
Hello,
I was knocked off my bike at 6.30pm yesterday evening (Mon 19th Feb) at the junction of Upper Tollington Park and Lancaster Road N4 by a man in a grey Vauxhall Astra turning right into Lancaster Road as I went straight along Upper Tollington Park. He stopped and gave me a name and contact number, and I have a photo of the licence plate. My bike's damaged and am rather battered and bruised but grateful not to be more badly hurt or worse.
I had flashing lights, hi-vis and reflectors but he didn't see me.
Did anybody happen to see it? A very nice chap drove me home but he didn't actuallly see the collision, only heard it. I am reporting to Police and insurance and would be very useful to have an eye witness.
