One of Stroud Green’s Seven Sisters gone under the axe

There were seven chestnut trees outside Wall Court. One of them was removed on Monday. Great visual amenity loss. I assume because of Bleeding Canker disease - are the others at risk?

I think the stump should be preserved and carved with a totem, suggestions?
