Grim in the short term. If there is a ray of light, though, it's the possibility that some of Green King's empire might end up as independent pubs. We'll need to keep an eye out for any attempts at converting them into housing.

The old-dairy lost its charm when they revamped it into a gastro, as Arkady says hopefully it goes to being an independent like the White Lion

I'm with therattle. I didn't go in that much but was always a nice option to have. Would be a shame for such a landmark to close permanently..

Regrettably now confirmed as gone. Saw them loading stock into cars yesterday. It’s a great spot, hopefully it’s used well in the future.
