Just wondered what the local recomendations are. Tried search but couldnt see any prev. threads.

We use the garage on Sparshot Road (Holloway Service Station) near to the Sir Robin pub. Nice people, traditional garage MOT and repairs etc

I use Langdon Motors. Expensive, but I suspect they're all expensive here. Transparent and always good work.

Anyone got any other recommendations? I've never branched out.

For our old VW and now Audi we use Motor Continental in Crouch End. They are VW/Audi specialists. They do MOTs.

Agree with Ali, Sparshot always been good for me, sometime surprised by how cheap tbh.

I don't think Langdon do MOTS themselves. They take your car to a garage that does. Another vote for Sparshot, not had a problem there.

A lot of garages go to Sparsholt for the Mot's.

I have been going to Highgate Autos for a few years and cannot fault them.

I've used Kelvins Motor Wagons on Brownswood road over the last decade (VW & Audi). Generally a bit expensive, but the owner is a good bloke and has gone above and beyond for me more than once.

Marlboro service station in Marlborough road my current preference. Friendly, quick, competent and reasonable for repairs, service and MOT.

I used to go to motor continental but prices were extreme. After two years of £1k plus for service/ MOT I regretfully decided they were doing a classic rip off the ignorant woman number (that's me) and moved on.
