Mending a jacket

Hello all, my husband's old linen jacket is definitely in need of some clever mending. I know some of the local launderettes do that sort of thing, so wondered if any of you have used them, and who you'd recommend, or advise to avoid? I could tackle it myself but it would definitely not be great. Thanks.

I used to use the guy at the now gone Snow White. He was brilliant, does anyone know if he's working elsewhere now?

Sew in Crouch End was brilliant, expensive but done properly, they have other branches apparently so may be worth a look.

I got a zip replaced in my jacket by one little shop on Hornsey Road and it wasn't great.

Sew has closed down apparently. The place in Hornsey Road used to be a theatrical costume maker and was great, but since then it's changed hands once or twice and closed down during pandemic - new people now in who do alterations, but don't know about clever mending.

The place at top of SGR near Thai Granary has done some good repairs for me eg fixing moth holes, alterations etc.

Place on Fonthill opposite WB Yeats, good I think but expensive.
